OLYMPIC MEDALS VANCOUVER 2010

Diseñadas por la artista CORRINE HUNT y el diseñador industrial OMER ARBEL. Inspiradas en la forma del océano y las orcas cada una de ellas es única, gravadas en láser y hechas con materiales reciclados procedentes de equipos electronicos. Son las medallas más pesadas de la historia olimpica cada una pesa entre 500gr y 700gr. para ello han hecho falta un total de 2.05 kg. de oro, 1.950 kg. de plata y 903 kg. de bronze para hacer 615 medallas olimpicas y 399 paralimpicas.

Designed by the artist CORRINE HUNT and the industrial designer OMER ARBEL. Inspired in the ocean and the orca shape, each one of this medals is unique, engraved with laser and made by recicled material coming from electronics. They are the heaviest medals of the olympics history, with a weight betwen 500gr. and 700gr.
